An exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to join the team of Maryam Nassir Zadeh. The Director of Operations is responsible for office management, shipping and wholesale communication for the MNZ brand, as well as day-to-day financial overview. They will play an essential role within the brand and are the point of communication between the brand, the showroom, the retailers and the other associated partners of the brand.

Responsibilities:

Wholesale
– Contact person between MNZ Showroom, design/production team and wholesaler accounts globally
– Responsible for facilitating retail enquiries, sales ATS, returns and full issue resolution for wholesale accounts
– Responsible for all order confirmations, delivery notes and invoicing for all stores worldwide
– Supervise the integration between the production software (Zedonk) and the sales software (Joor)
– Coordinates line sheet creation and assists with market appointments as needed

Dispatch
– Work directly with Bergen growers and logistics for all shipping, returns, receiving, picking and packing in the US and European warehouse
– Facilitate all stock deliveries from MNZ production partners in Bergen to both US warehouse and EU warehouse
– Oversees the integration between Zedonk and the Bergen WMS software
– Create ASNs in production software and ensure accurate data import from WMS into Zedonk to allocate and assign all stock for bulk orders
– Work closely with production to ensure stock is received in a timely manner and within the dedicated bulk delivery window

Finance
– Main point of contact for factor, accountant and stockist accounts
– Ensures that invoices are correctly distributed between the internal accounting team and the factoring company
– Responsible for all credit inquiries for the factoring company to ensure accurate payment terms are reflected for stores
– Responsible for the collection of deposits and deposits for stores not granted by factor. For stores with conditions, responsible for exporting invoices to the factoring company
– Report to the accounting team and the founder regarding the brands’ key financial information
– Responsible for showroom supplier accounts

Terms
– 3-5 years of operations/logistics management experience in a similar sized brand within the fashion industry
– Attention to detail and ability to work independently within a small team
– A natural problem solver, project management skills and able to juggle multiple tasks
– Experience with Bergen shipping and logistics, in particular, a strong asset
– Advanced in MS Office, especially Excel
– Financially savvy and able to budget over multiple seasons
– Intermediate skills in Adobe Creative Suite, an asset
– Preferred bachelor’s degree
