CHAMBER, iHEART MEDIA PARTNER: The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber and iHeartMedia recently announced a partnership that will enhance marketing and promotion of the region.

iHeartMedia will provide the chamber with ongoing marketing support through its six radio properties in the valley, as well as streaming, digital and podcasting solutions. Additionally, iHeartMedia’s local personalities will give voice to the chamber to reach thousands of target audiences.

The partnership gives the chamber, its members and the region tremendous reach and scale in promoting initiatives, issues and events that shape our region today and into the future.

LOCAL BUSINESSES ADVERTISING THE TOUR: Cinemanix, a full-service multimedia production company, has partnered with Clever’s creative team to create a national television spot for the Werner Company and its sponsorship of the basketball tournament -ball NCAA 2022.

Werner is the official ladder sponsor of the tournament and is known for the winning team’s brilliant moment atop a Werner ladder as they cut the net.

The spot was not only developed by Youngstown businesses, but it also features all the local talent, basketball players and locations. Filming took place at Hubbard High School and the soon-to-open Penguin City Beer.

CERTIFIED AGENCY: MARQUEE, a Girard-based boutique marketing firm, received federal Women Business Enterprise (WBE) certification last month.

At noon on Wednesday, a 30-minute workshop will explain how a cash-in refinance works and why it can be a valuable tool for large home improvement projects.

On Thursday noon, the theme of the 45-minute workshop is building credit. The session will cover credit score basics and help attendees understand the impact of their credit score on future purchases.

THE COMPANY MAKES A MAJOR MILESTONE: Biviano Carpet One Floor and Home in Girard will celebrate its 75th anniversary this year.

Jim and Jessie Popovich took over the business in 2018 from David and Lynne Biviano. The company plans to expand into the kitchen and bathroom this year.
